Reservations & Walk-Ins We welcome both advance reservations and same-day walk-in guests! We're open seven days a week from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (MDT). Tube rentals begin at 9:00 AM, with the final launch of the day at 4:00 PM. Guests with reservations receive priority for their selected departure time. While we do our best to stay on schedule, occasional delays may occur due to weather, river conditions, or larger groups. Reservations You can reserve your tubing adventure online in advance. Because our private river access is located right where you check in, you're able to begin your float without waiting for a scheduled shuttle departure. We'll simply coordinate your launch with our shuttle pickup schedule to make your experience as smooth as possible. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your reservation. Guests who arrive late may need to be moved to the next available opening, depending on availability. Walk-Ins Spontaneous adventures are always welcome! Walk-in guests are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the day. During busy periods or when large groups are scheduled, availability may be limited. We recommend booking ahead if you want to guarantee your preferred launch time. Large Groups Planning a family reunion, company outing, school trip, or other group adventure? We'd love to help. For groups of 14 or more, please contact us at info@ziontubingadventure.com so we can coordinate your reservation and make sure your group has the best possible experience. Traveling from Las Vegas or Out of State? Zion Tubing Adventure is the closest river tubing experience to Zion National Park and the only tubing company launching directly from Springdale. If you're traveling from Las Vegas, remember that Utah is one hour ahead of Nevada. Please plan your travel accordingly so you don't miss your reservation. Guests who arrive after their scheduled time will be accommodated based on availability, and missed reservation times are not eligible for refunds.

Our standard weight limit for the tubes is 250 pounds. That limit is in place for safety reasons and to ensure the tubes perform as designed under typical river conditions. We have successfully had individuals over 250 pounds float in the tubes without incident. The guideline exists to reduce the risk of tipping, instability, or excessive submersion, especially when river conditions shift. River flow can change throughout the day due to weather or natural fluctuations. At times the water may be higher and faster; other times it may be lower and slower, increasing the chance of getting stuck on shallow spots or rocks. For everyone’s safety, all guests need to be comfortable adapting to these changes. This includes being prepared to shift their weight, navigate around obstacles, and, if necessary, safely exit the tube and walk it through shallow areas. Our goal is for everyone to have a fun experience, but safety and the ability to respond to changing river conditions must always come first.

Our 90-minute float along the Virgin River offers a fun, relaxing way to experience the beauty surrounding Zion National Park. Trip length may vary slightly depending on river flow and other natural conditions. While the river is refreshing, the Southern Utah sun can be surprisingly strong—even on cooler days. We recommend drinking plenty of water before your trip, applying sunscreen, wearing sun-protective clothing, and bringing a secure water bottle to stay comfortable throughout your adventure. Arriving prepared will help you make the most of your time on the river.

Children ages 4 years old and up are allowed. Required by our insurance and for your child's own safety. Everyone MUST have their own tube. It can be dangerous to hold your child on your lap as our tubes are made for one person. The tubes have handles to make it easy to hold your child's tube. It is safer all around for each person to have their own tube. Our owners grew up tubing the river in Zion and Springdale, Utah and love sharing this family-friendly activity to all those visiting!

We make it so simple by having your access to the river be the same area you check in at. Arrive at our entrance point located at 1865 Zion Park Blvd Springdale, Ut 84767. After signing waivers and you're all checked in you'll be able to get right on the river! No waiting for shuttles! Once you enter it is typically 90 minutes from start to finish. We have a shuttle ready for you with a friendly staff member to bring you back to your vehicle. Please note that your river adventure is self-guided. We take care of the tube rentals and shuttle service, then you're free to relax, float, and enjoy the beauty of the Virgin River at your own pace. Guided trips are not provided.

You're welcome to bring a small personal cooler, such as one that fits inside a backpack. To help keep everyone safe and protect the river corridor, your cooler must remain secured inside your tube for the duration of your float. Please do not remove your cooler from the river during your trip, as much of the land bordering the Virgin River is privately owned. Staying in the river and keeping your belongings with you helps respect neighboring property, preserve the natural environment, and ensure a great experience for all guests.

Plan on getting wet! We recommend wearing a swimsuit, shorts, or any clothing you're comfortable floating in. Footwear is required for every guest. While flip-flops are permitted, we highly recommend water shoes or sandals with a secure heel strap for the best comfort and stability on and around the river. Because the Virgin River is a natural waterway, unexpected bumps, splashes, and current changes can happen. We encourage you to leave jewelry, electronics, wallets, keys, and other valuables somewhere safe, as anything brought on the river is your responsibility and could be lost during your adventure. We have a secure area that you are able to leave car keys while on your float!

We're open 7 days a week, rain or shine throughout our tubing season. That said, your safety always comes first. As locals, we've seen how quickly weather and river conditions can change. Our team closely monitors forecasts, river flow, and water levels throughout the day. If storms are approaching or the river reaches an unsafe flow level, we will temporarily pause or suspend tubing operations until conditions are safe. We know weather can be unpredictable, but we'd much rather delay a trip than put our guests at risk. Your safety is always our top priority.

Life jackets are required by the State of Utah for all children 12 years old and younger. We provide life jackets for children at no additional cost, and we also have a limited number of adult life jackets available for any guest who would like to wear one.

Absolutely! Keep your eyes open—you never know what you might spot along the river. Our stretch of the Virgin River is home to nesting Canada geese, majestic blue herons, soaring falcons, frogs, lizards, and schools of small sucker fish. Every float is a little different, making wildlife sightings part of the adventure. And if you're wondering... don't worry! Utah doesn't have any native water snakes.

The Virgin River is a natural river, so water depth can change throughout the season and even from day to day. Most sections are typically 2 to 4 feet deep, with a few deeper pools along the way. As the closest tubing location to Zion National Park, Zion Tubing Adventure is proud to offer the only float that travels through a section of the Zion Wilderness, giving you a truly unique perspective of the canyon and surrounding landscape. River conditions are influenced by recent weather, rainfall, and seasonal flows, especially during Southern Utah's monsoon season. To keep everyone safe and meet our insurance requirements, we ask that all guests use the tubes provided by Zion Tubing Adventure. Outside tubes and other flotation devices aren't permitted. Trust us—you won't mind! Our premium tubes are built for comfort, so all you have to do is kick back, relax, and enjoy the ride.

Not at all! Our tubing season runs from May through September, when the Virgin River has had plenty of time to warm up under the Southern Utah sun. Water temperatures are typically around 75°F, making for a refreshing but comfortable float. If you've hiked The Narrows, you'll notice a big difference—our section of the river is generally much warmer. Early morning trips tend to have the coolest water, while the sunshine gradually warms it throughout the day. Depending on temperature we may have floats available in October and April as well!

Absolutely! Expect to get a little wet during your float. How soaked you end up is completely up to you—whether you prefer to stay mostly dry or jump in and cool off!
